Why we built this server.
We've all been on RP servers that started promising and decayed. Zone X RP is our attempt to do it differently: small, careful, public roadmap, and players who actually stay.
The first version of this server was an internal experiment between half a dozen long-term FiveM players who had grown tired of pay-to-win, of staff who never play, of features that get added in patch notes but break in practice. We wanted to ship less, and finish more.
We started in early 2026 with one rule: every system we ship must connect to at least two others. The economy hooks into jobs, jobs into inventory, inventory into housing, housing into vehicles, vehicles into the police, and the police back into the economy. The rule sounds obvious but it's the reason most servers feel like a stack of hobbies instead of a city.
We also wanted a public face — not a Discord screenshot, not a launch video, but a proper website where the whole project is explained, the rules are public, the changelog is honest, and the data we collect is documented in plain English. So we built that, too.
If you read down to here: thank you. Take the next step — sign in, write a character, and we'll see you in San Andreas.
Long-form over fast food
We design for sessions, not seconds. Storylines unfold over weeks. Characters age. Money has weight.
Respect over reach
We grow slow on purpose. Every player is interviewed. Every staff member played for at least 50 hours before getting a tag.
Safety isn't optional
Cheats, harassment, dox, slurs, content involving minors: instant ban. There's no balance here. Some lines we don't walk.
Run by people who play
We don't admin from a panel. Staff are visible in-game and at events. If you see us, say hi.
